Gradespace AI is on its way

Alongside client work, Gradespace Labs explores applied AI. We are interested in AI that shows its working, adapts to the person using it, and stays useful when the data is small and messy.

It is early, and we like it that way. We publish as we go: when there is something real to show, the waitlist hears first.

How we think about it

What we are interested in

These are the principles Gradespace Labs works by. We will say what we are building when it is real.

  1. Show the working.

If a system makes a call, the person on the other end should be able to see why. We would rather ship something explainable than something clever.

  2. Built for the specific.

Most useful AI is not trained on the whole internet: it is tuned to one school, one agency, one workflow. That is the problem we find interesting.

  3. People first, model second.

The interesting constraint is almost never the model. It is whether someone will actually use the thing on a Tuesday afternoon.

Where our AI work started

BuildGrade and TargetGrade both began as internal problems in the studio. They are live today.
