What it does
A page for every business
Its own heading, photo, facts and figures, steps, menu, services, team, news and testimonials, with its own contact details and search settings. Add another business any time.
Enquiries to the right team
Visitors pick the business (or “Not sure”) and answer that business’s own question; the message goes straight to its inbox. Group → Enquiries keeps every one, with status, notes and replies.
Listings
Homes to let and for sale, commercial units or anything a business offers, with prices, photos, documents, filters by type, area, bedrooms and price, and an enquiry form for the right team.
Stock & equipment (Pro)
Products, suppliers and stock per place; deliveries, sales, transfers and counts that never go below zero; machines at client sites with service visits, restock tasks and a low-stock email.
A client area and staff by business (Pro)
Clients sign in to see orders from every business, invoices and receipts, plans and renewals, documents and requests. Each member of staff sees only the businesses they look after.
Three designs and real photos
Mosaic, Charter and Parallel, each with seven colour palettes, one brand for the group or (Pro) each business its own, and sample photos from Pexels with the photographers credited.
Who it’s for
A parent company and its businesses
Property, vending, logistics, consulting or anything else: one website with a page, services, team and inbox for each business, under the parent company’s details.
Owners running several businesses
Unrelated businesses with one owner. Show them under one brand, or on Pro each in its own logo, colours and font, sharing the menu, forms and footer.
Groups that serve clients for years
Stock, machines at client sites, service visits, orders, invoices and renewals, with a client area where clients see everything from every business (Pro).
What you’d otherwise put together
A site like this usually means choosing several products from different makers and getting them to work together. A kit is one thing, made to fit.
Putting it together yourself
- A multipurpose theme, with every business page built by hand
- A form plugin with rules to send each enquiry to the right team
- A listings or property plugin
- A client portal plugin for orders, invoices and documents
- An add-on for staff accounts and roles
- Setting it all up and keeping it working together after every update
One kit: Gradespace Group
- Website, design and features designed and built together
- One licence, paid once
- One setup wizard that adds the pages, menu and sample content
- Updates for the plugin and theme tested together
Ready-made staff roles come with every tier; choosing exactly what each role can do needs Pro or Agency.
What’s included
One payment, a lifetime licence and every future update. Each tier includes everything in the one before.

How updates, your licence, your data and help work, now and later.
How updates work
Updates come straight from thegradespace.com, over a secure connection with time-limited download links for your licensed site. They install with one click from the WordPress Updates screen, like any other plugin. We test each release against the current version of WordPress before it goes out, and every release says which WordPress version it’s tested up to.
What “lifetime licence” means
You pay once. The licence lasts for life and every future update is included: there are no renewals or subscriptions. If our server can’t be reached, your site carries on as it is.
Your data stays on your website
Bookings, records, messages and content are kept in your own WordPress database, on your own hosting. There is no Gradespace cloud. Our server only sees your licence key and website address, when your site checks its licence and updates.
Help when you need it
Every kit comes with a step-by-step getting-started guide and a printable guide for your staff. For anything else, write to us and we’ll help.
Contact usTest copies are free
Local and staging copies of your site (localhost, .local, .test, staging.… and dev.… addresses) never use up your licence.
14-day money-back
If a kit isn’t right for you, ask within 14 days of buying for a full refund.
Questions
- How many businesses can a group have?
- As many as you run. Add one from Group → Businesses or the setup wizard’s “Add another business”, and it appears on the homepage, in the menu’s “Our businesses” list and in the contact form straight away. Hide one to take it off the website without deleting anything.
- Can each business have its own brand?
- Yes, on Pro. Each business gets its own logo, colour, heading font and corner style, while the menu, forms and footer stay shared. Colours are checked for contrast as you save. Every tier can show the whole group under one brand.
- Does it take payments or do our accounts?
- Staff record orders and payments taken by card, cash or transfer, and invoices and receipts print with the selling business under the parent company’s details. They’re records of what was ordered and paid: keep using your accounting software for your books and VAT. Plans and renewals are reminded, not charged automatically.
- Who sees what?
- On Pro, Group admins see everything, Business managers their businesses’ pages, listings, enquiries, stock and clients, and Business staff their businesses’ enquiries and day-to-day stock. Clients only ever see their own company. Everything stays in your own WordPress database; our server only sees your licence key and website address.
- Is it a one-off payment?
- Yes. You pay once, the licence lasts for life and every future update is included. There are no renewals or subscriptions.
- What do I need to run it?
- A WordPress website (6.8 or later, PHP 8.0 or later) on any ordinary host. You install the free Gradespace Core plugin, the kit’s plugin and its theme, then the setup wizard walks you through the rest.
- What counts as a website?
- One licence covers one live website (Agency covers 5). Local and staging copies (localhost, .local, .test, staging.… and dev.… addresses) are free and never use up your licence.
- Can you install it for me?
- Yes. Done-for-you installation is from £99: we install Gradespace Core, the kit and its theme on your hosting, activate your licence, run the setup wizard with your details and hand it over with a short walkthrough. Complete setup and customisation, from £299, adds your content, bookings, forms and emails, small design tweaks, redirects from your old site, a staff training session and 30 days of help after launch. The price depends on your hosting and the size of the site, and is agreed before we start. Prices include VAT where it applies, and the kit licence is bought separately. Ask for a quote on our contact page.
- Can I change the design later?
- Yes. Choose a different design and colour palette in Site Settings → Design & colours at any time; your content stays as it is. You can preview a choice privately before visitors see it.
- How do updates work?
- Updates come from thegradespace.com and install with one click from the WordPress Updates screen. Each release is tested against the current version of WordPress first, and says which version it’s tested up to.
- Can I upgrade later?
- Yes. Move from Starter to Pro or Agency by paying the difference, from your licences page or from the kit’s Licence tab in WordPress. Your key stays the same.
- Refunds
- 14-day money-back: if the kit isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of buying for a full refund (the licence is then switched off).
